Note which part and which scenario. Ask a technical professional whether the building, access or services may be affected and check the mapping with the competent authority.
CHECK THE MAPPING BEFORE PAYING A DEPOSIT
Could this parcel flood?
Enter a cadastral reference and locate the parcel on official river and coastal flood-hazard layers. Compare scenarios, inspect the surrounding area and prepare the questions to resolve before buying.
Locate the property
Use the 20-character cadastral reference on a receipt or certificate, or its first 14 characters if you know the parcel. The query shows a cadastral parcel; it does not automatically identify each building or establish its legal boundaries.
Your browser queries the national Cadastre's public service directly. To show the view, it requests images from the official map service and our server. This tool does not save a case file or use AI.

How to read the layers
The T10, T100 and T500 layers represent mapped hazard scenarios with different return periods. A return period is not a forecast date for the next flood and does not guarantee that a home is safe for that period. Coastal flooding is a different phenomenon from river flooding; neither map is a legal coastal-boundary determination.
Do not assume there is no risk. Not every potentially floodable area has been studied or mapped. Look at historical events, runoff, dry channels, regional and municipal mapping and the actual terrain.
Ask the municipality and, where relevant, the river-basin authority what information applies. Obtain flood history, building plans and levels, a technical inspection and insurance terms when the circumstances call for them.
Sources and limits
The outline comes from the Cadastre's INSPIRE service and is shown as a transformed visualisation. The background is contextual PNOA aerial imagery; its flight date can differ from the query date. The Spanish Spatial Data Infrastructure serves the official flood-hazard layers. Maps may change or have coverage gaps and scale limitations. Cadastre, Land Registry and physical conditions can differ. This tool reaches no automatic legal conclusion and issues no certificate.

This check complements your property case file and our separate coastal-law check. A purchase decision needs current documents and case-specific legal and technical work alongside the maps.
