Cookies and local storage
Last updated: 9 September 2026
What this version uses
The application does not set its own cookies or use localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB to save your case or follow your browsing. The basic tool’s fonts, scripts and illustrations are served from the website itself. The optional AI security check described below can load a Cloudflare script. It does not include advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts or third-party maps that load automatically when you visit a page.
The active case is kept in page memory. Downloading a case or report saves a file on your device at your request; it is not a tracking cookie. The browser may keep cached site resources under its own settings.
Delivery and security
Cloudflare provides the website’s delivery and protection layer. Technical cookies may be used when its security services need them, for example to remember a security check. Their use depends on the service and the request; they are not cookies added by this application for advertising. Cloudflare explains their purposes and durations in its technical cookie documentation.
This version has no optional advertising or analytics cookie categories to accept. An information notice is not a request for consent, and continuing to browse is not treated as consent to optional tracking.
Security when requesting AI
If enabled for this service, Cloudflare Turnstile loads only when you activate the AI-analysis button. It checks connection and browser signals, including your IP address, to help distinguish people from automated misuse. Our application does not send the case text or images to that security check. Cloudflare processes these signals to protect the service and, for its own purposes, improve bot detection, as explained in its Turnstile privacy information.
You can use the basic report without activating this AI check. If a security check is required for AI, it must complete before that analysis can be requested. The AI request confirmation is separate from cookie consent; neither authorises advertising or analytics tracking.
Your choices
You can inspect, block or remove cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking necessary security mechanisms may stop a page or an official external service from working. Deleting site data does not remove reports or case files already downloaded.
External services you choose to open have their own cookies and information. If optional tracking is introduced here in the future, it will remain disabled until the required choice is offered, with an accessible way to reject it and change your decision. For personal data and contact details, see the privacy policy.
